The nature at Canterbury and the vibrant streets of Joo Chiat made for a pre-wedding session that was raw, real and full of character. Despite receiving many couples at Canterbury through the years, every shot done there has its own uniqueness as the plants and how they move with the wind is never quite the same. The rain changes how they grow, the wind defines how they sway. There’s the raw beauty of having a pre-wedding done at a really natural greenery spot at Canterbury.

We moved on to Joo Chiat for the couple’s casual pre-wedding session because they adore the cosy neighbourhood’s vibrant culture and colours and lucky are we that the colourful Peranakan houses are not as crowded and we barely had to queue. It’s a casual photo walk with the couple’s full trust that we are able to document candid moments of the couple just being themselves and indulging in each other’s company.
