FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
General Questions
1. Are there any preparations or anything I could do to ensure that my photos and videos look good?
Wedding details and decorations are some important aspects that can bring more depth and further beautify your wedding celebration. Your gown, bridal bouquet, and wedding shoes contribute to your wedding’s aesthetic as well!
You could consider working with wedding decor teams/stylists, or florists to decide on a wedding theme with a consistent colour scheme for your wedding. Pinterest is also a good place to start to get some inspiration, as it often has a good and wide range of references for beautiful wedding details and decorations. 🙂
2. Do you have a list of partner vendors you work with?
Yes, we do have a list of preferred friendors we frequently work with! You can find the list here.
3. What are your payment terms? Can we negotiate this?
We require 50% booking fee to confirm the booking and block off the date for your special day. Other than PayNow and Bank Transfer, we also accept payment by Credit Card via GrabPay (1% merchant fee applies).
Sorry, our payment terms are non-negotiable. As we are a team dedicated to photography and videography, we do not have a dedicated sales & accounting personnel to customize invoices. So to prevent complications and keep it fair and consistent, payment terms are the same for all clients.
4. What are your cancellation/postponement policies?
i. Booking fees are non-refundable (e.g. in the event of cancellation).
Alternatively, booking fees can be used for other services we offer. e.g. Couple, family, or maternity photoshoot.
ii. Postponement charges are 30% of the total service(s) booked.
However, if the wedding cannot take place due to government interventions (e.g. Circuit Breaker, Event shutdowns, etc), we offer a one-time free 9 months postponement period. Do check with us for our availability before you book!
5. When can I expect to receive my photos and/or video(s)?
You will receive your photos and/or video(s) within 8 to 14 weeks. If it’s ready before the 8-week mark, we’ll definitely let you know 🙂
6. How will my photos and/or video(s) be delivered?
For half-day wedding bookings (solemnization package), you will receive a download link to access all your photos and/or video(s).
For pre-wedding and full-day wedding bookings, a Senica flash drive containing all the soft copies will be mailed to you together with a keepsake pouch.
7. Can I choose an editing style?
No. Based on our portfolio that’s featured on our website and social media platforms, you should be able to get a good gauge on whether our style of shooting and editing matches you.
Generally, we adopt joyful and natural tones with an occasional play of light if the sun permits 🙂
8. What if the photographer I booked cannot make it on my wedding day?
We haven’t encountered this and we hope it stays this way! In the event that this happens, we will check in with you and offer the option of having another team member document your wedding memories. Rest assured that we will only assign a photographer whom we trust! We have a total of 4 trusted photographers and photo-videographers under Senica so if you’re agreeable, we will assign one of them to cover your wedding.
Alternatively, if you prefer, we could also offer a refund for the booking fee we received, should the photographer you booked be unable to make it on your wedding day due to unforeseen circumstances.
9. Do you provide RAW (unedited) photos/videos?
No, we don’t. We spend a lot of effort editing each of your couple and wedding day memories. Trust us to do our job 🙂
10. I would not like my photos/videos to be featured on your website &/or social media. Is that possible?
If you would not like to have your photos and/or video(s) to be featured at all, the Non-Disclosure fee to top up would be 80% of your total booking.
11. Do I need to prepare meal(s) for the crew?
We will deeply appreciate it if you could. Everyone feels happier, better and more energized after being fed 😛
12. If I made a booking for a full-day wedding, can I split it into daytime and evening reception?
Yes, you can. One time same-day split day (daytime part & evening part) will not incur any charges so long as the break in-between is over 2 hours.
13. My wedding celebration is over 2 (or more) days. Are there any additional charges?
The split-day charge is at $350 per service and $600 for photography + videography services.
14. What are your morning surcharges?
It’s $50 per service, one time charge before 7am.
15. Is there GST invovled in your service?
All prices are nett 🙂
16. In the event that a lockdown occurs and the requested service(s) are no longer required, is it possible for the booking fees paid to be converted to credits/swap services to livestream or a post wedding shoot?
Yes definitely. In the unfortunate event something similar to CB occurs, we’ll get in touch with each of our affected couples and work out an alternative solution.
17. Will there be a virtual meeting or physical meeting prior to the wedding?
Yes of course! We meet with all our full wedding day couples to discuss the wedding plans and share our suggestion and experience 🙂 Usually we do the e-meeting about 1.5 months prior to the wedding, but if our couples prefer to meet us earlier, of course that can be scheduled too.
Photo-Specific Questions
1. How many photos will I receive?
We edit and deliver all good images so there is no limit to the number of photos you will receive. For a gauge of the minimum number of photos, you may refer to our price menu.
2. For my Pre-Wedding shoot, can I choose my location(s)?
Yes, after confirmation, we will share a form for you to fill up, from there we will be able to understand your preferences and suggest suitable location(s) for the pws. If there is specific places that you’d like to shoot at, feel free to let us know too! We’d love exploring with you!
Places that are significant during your love journey may evoke beautiful emotions naturally from you and your partner. If you have a location like that in mind, please let us know 🙂
3. How many locations can I choose for my Pre-wedding shoot?
There’s no limit actually, but let’s try to maximize shooting and minimize traveling so you can enjoy the couple session more, rather than rushing between locations 🙂
After all, it’s all about capturing the goodness and essence of your relationship. So an enjoyable, and not too rushed schedule is highly recommended.
4. If a picture is delivered in black and white, will we be given the coloured version?
We deliver all images in colour.
Black and white photos are like mood shots, and are add-ons/bonuses. They are only given when we feel that the photo evokes strong emotions when it’s in black and white.
Video- & Livestream-Specific Questions
1. What are the deliverables for Wedding Videography?
On top of a wedding highlight video, for a regular videography package, you will also receive separation of clips (e.g. gate crash, tea ceremony, solemnization, speeches, other parts of banquet/reception celebrations).
2. Can I choose the music for my wedding video?
We would recommend that you trust us on the music choice that’s most suitable based on our edit. Unless if you have a very special music track (e.g. self-composed, copyright licensed/royalty-free) that you’d like to feature.
All the music we use are licensed so you can post them anywhere you’d like after the wedding 🙂 If you’d like to use your own music selection, correct music license must be purchased.
3. Which platforms do you livestream from?
We stream on YouTube, Twitch, and Zoom. For the best streaming quality, we recommend YouTube and Twitch.
4. Can I include my own self-made video(s) to be streamed?
Yes, the fee for this is $50.
Please note that only licensed music can be used for the video as YouTube will flag and potentially halt the stream if copyrighted music is used. This is too big a risk to take on your special day so kindly take note of this!
6. Do you guys do Childhood Montage?
I’m sorry we don’t provide growing up montage services. There’s an array of online platforms that can assist with that and the process of discovering older images and memories of you and your partner is a wonderful couple activity and we hope you guys get to experience that together 🙂

4. Can I do an interactive 2-way livestream on Zoom?
Yes, you can.
While this is possible on our end, we’ve done it several times now to know that coordination with the venue’s AV system is crucial and necessary as well. So apart from us, your venue needs to be on-board for this as well.
Depending on the complexity of interactivity, additional charges may apply.
5. My venue has no power source, sound mixer, or WiFi. Are you still able to conduct the livestream?
Yessssssssss! Trust us, we’ve done it multiple times via YouTube and Zoom. It’s tricky and it’s complicated but we got this. 😉
